Privacy Policy
Effective Date:
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how ImgTo3D (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application and related generation services.
2. Information Collection
We handle the following information to provide and maintain ImgTo3D:
- Selected Images: Images you choose are sent to Fal.ai so its models can create the requested 3D model.
- Generated Models: Fal.ai returns the generated model so ImgTo3D can deliver it to your device.
- Generation Job Metadata: ImgTo3D records limited operational details such as a job identifier, generation mode, timestamps, public status, recovery state, and processing outcome.
- Optional Generation Reports: After a new generation, you can choose to prepare a support email containing the issue category you select, any explanation you add, and limited app and generation diagnostics. The native email draft can also include the exact processed JPEGs used for that generation and the generated GLB when it is available on your device and no larger than 20 MiB. These attachments are included by default in the report screen, where you can turn them off before opening the draft.
- Usage and Diagnostic Information: We may collect basic app events and failure information used to operate, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
3. Processing and Retention
- Fal CDN Content: Images and generated models are temporarily handled on Fal.ai’s content delivery network (CDN). The associated CDN URLs are public, meaning anyone who obtains a URL can access its content while it remains available. The URLs are designed to be unguessable and are configured to remain available for up to seven days.
- Fal Request Records: Fal.ai retains generation request JSON for up to 30 days so queued work and results can be recovered.
- ImgTo3D Job Records: ImgTo3D’s backend stores generation job metadata for up to 30 days to support status checks, failure recovery, billing safeguards, and service operations.
- Generation Report Email: Report text and attachments are sent through the email service you choose on your device to our support mailbox. They are not uploaded to or stored by ImgTo3D’s backend. Your email provider and our support email provider process the message under their own privacy practices. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and maintain appropriate business records.
- Goodwill Credit Ledger: For an owned, completed Ultra generation whose original credit deduction succeeded, ImgTo3D’s backend uses a ledger to limit a report-triggered credit restoration to one per generation job and one accepted restoration per owner during a rolling 168-hour period. A RevenueCat customer identifier is held while the adjustment remains unresolved so it can be retried. When the outcome becomes permanent, that identifier is removed and the remaining record uses a pseudonymous owner identifier. Terminal pseudonymous records are scheduled for deletion 30 days after their outcome becomes permanent.
- On-Device Models: After a generation completes, the model is downloaded to storage on your device. It remains there until you delete it from ImgTo3D or remove the app and its data.
4. How We Use Information
- Generate, recover, and deliver the 3D models you request.
- Maintain generation status across network interruptions, app backgrounding, and relaunch.
- Prevent duplicate processing or credit handling for the same generation job.
- Respond to optional generation reports and, when eligible, restore one Ultra credit as a customer-care gesture.
- Monitor reliability, diagnose failures, protect the service, and improve ImgTo3D.
5. Service Providers and Data Sale
We share data only with service providers required to generate models, host and operate the service, manage purchase entitlements, provide analytics, deliver support email, or support related app functionality. This includes Fal.ai for AI generation and temporary CDN handling, RevenueCat for purchase entitlements and eligible Ultra credit restoration, and email providers used to deliver optional reports. Those providers process data under their applicable terms, privacy practices, and service arrangements.
We do not sell your data.
6. Your Choices
You control which images you select for generation. A generation report is optional. On a fresh result, you can turn report attachments off before opening the native email draft, then review, edit, send, save, or cancel that draft using your email composer. ImgTo3D only offers report media from the current in-memory generation session; reports prepared through another email app when the native composer is unavailable contain no attachments. You can also delete completed models stored by ImgTo3D on your device. Deleting a local model does not change the temporary Fal.ai or ImgTo3D backend retention periods described above.
7. Children's Privacy
ImgTo3D is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or store any information from children or users under the age of 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will publish revisions with an updated effective date.
